A GARLIC PEARL

I’ve no doubt garlic is useful
When it comes to stripping a wall
Just add to a bucket of water
Removal of paper is nothing at all

Do not spill any on the carpet
Or splash it on your clothes
If left for just thirty seconds
It will leave your attire in holes

Should you wish to re-polish furniture?
Take it back, as it were to bare wood
A clove of neat garlic rubbed across
Works better than paint stripper could

It’s well known for frightening witches
If nailed to the front of the house
And garlic placed in the garden
Gets rid of cats, dogs or even a mouse

But do not, I beg be tempted
To put it into cuisine
It will take the enamel off ones teeth
Turn your water an odd shade of green!!!
