MY LITTLE GEM.

I have a little something
Of which I am very proud
Not that I am one to brag
Or shout it way out loud

It is not there for everyone
To stop, and stand, and stare
I keep it hidden out of sight
Just to show I care

I don’t mind someone close to me
Who would like a crafty peek
So long as they are not cheeky
By giving it a tweak

I have had it simply ages
Yet it is still as good as new
Though now that winter has set in
It has turned a funny hue

No doubt by now you are certain
You know just what it is
Yes, that’s right you have guessed it
It was just my Bizzie Liz

At least that’s what I call it
Its stops the wagging tongue
Perhaps you have a name for it
And therefore I am wrong.
