GOING GREEN

We sound like lots of Martians
The way we are going green
And though I am quite in favour
Let’s just review the scene

There are ozone friendly sprays of course
Unleaded petrol too
Both of these seem sensible
They are logical, that’s true

We have far too many plastic bags
That litter up the street
Cut down on them right now I say
But please, let’s be discreet

We know we cannot use paper
Destroying all the trees
And how then do we carry goods
Do give an answer please

I know recycled paper
Is all the rage just now
But will there be enough of it
Just what can we allow

I don’t mind re-used newspaper
There is lots of that it’s true
But can we draw the line I ask
Please, not re-cycle from the loo...
